No Barriers, No Red Tape—Just Real Conversations.

This morning’s Chat with Jack – Mayor’s Edition was exactly what I believe in: accessibility, open dialogue, and leadership that listens. We had a great crowd, strong discussions, and plenty of coffee and donuts to keep things moving!

With the State of the City coming up, I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to ask questions, hear my take on Pleasanton’s future, and listen to what matters most to them. The goal? No barriers between the people and their leaders. Just straight-up conversations about where we are at - and where we’re headed.

And of course, a good laugh when we were reminded of the right way to eat a donut—by going straight for the toppings!

If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry—there will be more opportunities. In the meantime, stay connected, stay engaged, and keep the conversation going.

The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present State of the City Pleasanton 2025, featuring newly elected Mayor Jack Balch. Everyone in the community is invited to hear Mayor Balch's State of the City address on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard.
